Interfax: FOM-Ukraine Poll
Governing Coalition will win Majority of Parliamentary Seats
A poll undertaken by FOM-Ukraine published by Interfax July 9 indicates that the governing coalition (Party of Regions and the Communists Party of Ukraine representing a total 245/450 parliamentary seats) will secure a majority of parliamentary seats.
This poll is in line with previous published polls and shows the Socialist Party of Ukraine in a difficult position, According to the poll five parties will be represented in Ukraine's parliament had elections been held last week.

Bloc Yulia Tymoshenko (105/450)
Our Ukraine * (80/450)
Communist Party (29/450)
People's Self-Defence * (20/450)
Note: The poll was taken prior to the finalisation of the coalition agreement between Our Ukraine and the breakaway dissadent goup People's Self-Defence Party headed by Lutsenko.
